Another view of the Guggenheim museum in New York city. Unfortunately during my visit they were restoring the exterior of the building so I was relegated to internal photographs. This was taken at 16mm on a Canon 1Ds Mark II.
Speaking of electric here is a view from the Empire State Building taken last December. Even at 16mm my lens was faced with an impossible task of taking the entire view in.
If ever there were a building that could be considered art unto itself, my first thought would surely be the Guggenheim. The spiral floor and well lit space makes looking at art extremely enjoyable. Photographed is another perspective of the Guggenheim. This time looking from the top down.
I had the pleasure of taking my wife to New York City as a gift for our 1 year wedding anniversary (note I had given her “paper” tickets on the day of in October). Cindy had yet to visit NYC so it was a lot of fun to run around town with her.
