When you think of Yosemite you’re more than likely going to think of the iconic Valley View lookout, as seen in my Yosemite Valley Snow post, but Yosemite is full of so many amazing subjects that are commonly overlooked. Simple scenes such as the one below are all too easily missed as people rush from one lookout to another. Great nature experiences are still easy to come by in Yosemite you just have to explore and break out of the normal photographer bottlenecks (ex. morning photographer traffic at Tunnel View lookout). I’m looking forward to heading back to Yosemite in another 10 days to share such moments with a few like minded individuals. I can’t wait.

What you said is so true. People move to quickly and miss too many things. I look forward to going to Yosemite myself soon. Great image!
I like the delicate balance in this composition Jim. Well seen.
