Blog Project: Your Best Photos From 2010

As has become a tradition on the JMG-Galleries blog I’d like to invite you to take part in the 4th annual best photos of the year blog project. This is by far my most popular blog project. Year over year this project has continued to see a 30% increase in participation with last years participation hitting 124 participants (see Best Photos of 2009, Best Photos of 2008 and Best Photos of 2007). In fact its proven to be so popular I’ve had numerous people asking me since the first of the month if I’ll be running the project again. So with out ado I’m kicking off the project 2 weeks earlier than years past to stem the enthusiasm and give everyone more time to review their years work.

How to Participate (Read Carefully):

1. Review & select your top photos from 2010.
2. Create a blog post on your web site or a Flickr set containing your top photos from 2010.
3. Access my Contact page filling out all required fields.
4. In the subject line type “Your Best Photos From 2010″
5. Include in your message in the following format:
   <a href=”http://www.YourEntryURL.com”>WEB SITE NAME or BLOG POST TITLE<a> – YOUR NAME

   Again it’s required to include the following elements ideally in the format noted above.

   • Your web site name (if applicable)
   • Your web site address
   • The URL to “Your Best Photo From 2010″ blog/Flickr set entry

Note: Due to the increased volume of entries submissions lacking this information may not be listed.

The only rules for this project is that you share photos taken within the calendar year of 2010. As with all my photography blog projects participation is more important than anything else. I look forward to seeing your photos!

Deadline to Take Part
The deadline to take part will be Saturday JANUARY 8th at 11:59PM PST.
The following Tuesday I’ll post a link to all submitted sites and photos.
