In any family, herd, pack, pod, etc. there’s always someone to lean on. These young Bison calves (Bison bison bison) were having a good time in a Yellowstone National Park meadow. Clearly one was trying to lure the other into some activity other than resting by leaning on him/her.
Here’s to family and those you can lean on. Have a great weekend!

Very cute Jim!
Young Bison are always cute!
I was at Yellowstone last July and with a group of tourists, I was at the roadside shooting a juvenile who was grazing on grass and flowers – until Dad (or maybe it was Mom) took exception to the big, white 600mm lens.
Dad didn’t exactly charge me, but he was walking aggressively straight at me, and without the help of another person who blocked his path with his SUV, I would have been in trouble.
Still, I got the image and nobody got hurt, so that’s a win!
