The weather this weekend turned out to be incredibly beautiful here in San Francisco. Before getting sucked into an enormously fun day of tax prep I decided to head out and enjoy some sun on Saturday. In the process I decided to set up my camera for some time-lapse photography of a local artist, Andres Amador, running a workshop down on Ocean Beach. The result of an 90 minutes worth of work is summed up in the following 25 second video. Enjoy!

Wow. That must have been a huge file w/ all those frames!
I enjoyed your time lapse. I don’t think I would have the patience to sit for that long. How many frames did you shoot in 90 minutes?

@Richard I downsized the photos before making the movie. That helped speed up production time and minimize the file size. I also photographed this with my 1D Mark II to minimize my post-processing pain.

@Normana53 Thanks. I actually set up and took so some test shots for about 30 minutes and then let the camera run for 1 hour. 720 images were taken in total.
WOW…720 images compressed into 25 secs. That’s amazing Jim. The end result is just awesome. Thanks for sharing.
I love this time lapse. Plus, it’s the beach………….:)
