The 24th episode of EXIF and Beyond has been released (duration 58 min. 41 sec.).
Nick Dunmur of Pro-Imaging.org discusses the The Bill of Rights for Photography Competitions that his organization has put together and the The Rights On List / The Rights Off List tracking what competitions meet and do not meet the bill of rights.
This past year a growing trend has been underway, photography contests with very unfriendly terms in the fine print for photographers. Organizations, some new and others very well known like National Geographic, PDN, etc., have been running competitions with terms of use that often grab the rights of photographers. If you’re thinking about or regularly enter photo contests this is an absolute must listen to podcast. Protect your rights
