Just when you thought you’ve read or heard every review on the new Nikon D3X someone has released a video titled “Hitler Rants About D3X“. No matter brand you stand behind this is sure to make you laugh. Enjoy.

I’m going to have to agree with Hitler on this one… “Screw Digital”
I’m sure there are some people out there that want this camera, but I’m also sure that they’d sell boatloads more of them at $3000 to $4000 then they will at $8000. It’s pretty hard to see the value of the D3X (or the 1Ds mark III either) when compared to the 5D mark II or the Sony.
I do not think this is funny.
Hitler caused the 2nd WW and the Holocaust.
People might say I should lighten up, but to understand the
German language in this clip gives me goosebumps instead
of laughter.

@Ludwig I can understand your perspective particularly since a large portion of my family was killed by Hitler in his attempt to rid all Jews from Europe. I suppose I’m able to differentiate the moviee and melodramatic acting from the real events. It also helps that I don’t understand German so the rant is just babble. I find the humor in the creativity to match the funny text to the over the top acting. Seeing as how this movie clip has been used in a similar fashion for other rants in the past my level of sensitivity has come down with this as well. While I was not the creator of this movie I do hope it did not offend you greatly.
@ Jim,
You did not offend me. This is just my opinion.
With a German background I`m very sensitive
to my history (good and bad).
Love your blog and pictures.
Ludwig
Great find, Jim. Thanks for sharing. I’m loading my Bronica with some Ilford 400 and heading outside. Screw digital!
I’ve seen that movie, these are Hitlers last days of his life, in a deep bunker, losing the war as Nikon takes center stage. Very emotional indeed. Even I, with a German background, would be extremely upset with Nikon charging $8000 for this camera. So upset, I might switch back to Canon, or go back to shooting film with my F2.
