Three new features have made their way to the JMG-Galleries blog:
I have added the Google Translation widget, which I’m hoping will open my blog further to those whose native tongue is not English. I realize that the resulting translation may not be perfect, but it will certainly be better than nothing. For those that use this widget I am very interested to learn more about your experiences with it. This widget can be found in the column to the right just below “Recent Comments” and “Send an Art E-Card”… the next new feature.

“Send an Art E-Card” is fairly self explanatory in that clicking on the “send” button will bring you to a form to customize and send an e-card with some of my most popular photographs. This service is new and is in the process of being refined. As time goes on I’ll likely have more photographs added. You can view all of my photographs currently available in my e-card gallery.
As before you can find a link to this service in the side bar to the right below the “Recent Comments” section. If you use this service please let me know how it works out for you.
Sitofono, available in the “Contact” section of my blogs sidebar, is a service that enables you to place free calls to me. By clicking on this image you’ll have the means to conduct VOIP calls through your computer to me or the service will call a phone number you designate (for example your cell phone) and then from that connection will connect you for free to my phone number. My hope is that this service will make it easier for those interested in my photography world-wide to place orders, if email is not a preferred means of communication.
Special thanks to Luca F. for making this service available to me.
Jim,
I think its daring to put all of your contact info out there in the open. I’m curious as to how it’ll work out for you as time goes by.
Do expect to hear me on your phone line sometime soon.
Cheers!
I’m too using the Google translate widget. Through your post I figured out that the english -> german translations is not better than the opposite direction.
But hey, its at least slightly better than the fish and sometimes better than nothing.
The translation widget seems to be having some trouble… It refuses to show the content in any language. Says that you cant translate from english to english.
