Last night just before bed at 2:30AM I saw an announcement from Thomas Hawk on Twitter that Zooomr had launched. When I checked though it was still experiencing problems. Fast forward to this morning Zooomr is up and running. Congratulations to Thomas and Kristopher who run the site.
This has been one of the rougher site launches that I’ve seen. The initial Zooomr launch was attempted March 13th with occasional attempts since. In the end it’s now how long it took to launch, but the quality of the product. I’ll be tinkering more with the site today. I’m curious to learn more about the eCommerce features, Zipline and the layout in general.
The first thing I notice after my initial login is the jump straight to Zipline, a Twitter like communication stream between onces contacts. An interesting tool, but my focus is photography so I’m not sure why this was chosen as the first screen. Time to dive in learn as much as I can. Stay tuned for a review…
